GTA VI Limited-Edition DualSense controllers: black and white editions, launching November 19

CONFIRMED: At its September 3, 2026 State of Play, PlayStation revealed two controllers inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI: the DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition, and the matching White Limited Edition.

CONFIRMED: According to the PlayStation Blog, both controllers have a shimmering, color-shifting finish inspired by a Vice City sunset and neon lights. Both have palm-tree details molded into the controller shell and official GTA VI branding. The White edition is themed on Vice City at daybreak; the Black edition on its nightlife.

CONFIRMED: Both controllers launch starting November 19, the game's release date. Sony lists a recommended retail price of $84.99 USD / €84.99 / £74.99 / ¥12,480 (including tax). Sony notes that the exact launch date and availability may vary by country or region. Retailers may charge different prices, and we make no claim about current stock.

CONFIRMED: Pre-orders on direct.playstation.com opened September 10: 7:00am PT / 10:00am ET in the U.S., and 10:00am local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Portugal uses playstation.com/store/hardware. Both controllers are sold in limited quantities.

REGIONAL DIFFERENCE: Sony says the White edition will be sold globally through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers. The Black edition is exclusive to direct.playstation.com where that store operates, and sold through select retailers in other regions. Eligible direct.playstation.com pre-orders get free launch-day delivery.

WHAT IT MEANS FOR PLAYERS: The controllers are cosmetic. The game's DualSense features (haptic feedback and adaptive triggers) work on any standard DualSense, and Sony has not announced any in-game bonus tied to these editions. For the confirmed PS5 features, see our GTA VI on PS5 guide.
